The new wheels and tires came in this past month for the WRX.   On the right is a picture of the car with the new wheels on it.   Below is another picture of the front left wheel up close.   The wheel is a Fitipaldi Flame, 17"x7", 5x100, +40mm.   The tires are Dunlop SP Sport 901, in 225/45R17 Z.   So far the handling has been excellent, very sticky, quiet, and not too hard of a ride.   The wheels are a little flashy for my taste, but they were picked out by Jill.   She drives the car mostly anyway.   The wheels do make the brakes look small, and also make it look like the car needs to be lowered.   The never ending list of modifications has begun.

     Well, I started working on the page on May 18th, but here it is Memorial Day, May 26th, and I am still going.   So I have another picture to add to the page.   I spent a day out Frisbee Golfing with my friends Pete and Robyn, and salvaged a day out of what has been a mostly dreary Memorial Day weekend.   All the weather reports called for a complete washout, but Sunday turned out pretty nicely.   After golf, a good game of 6 on 6 pickup in the city was in order.   Then cocktails and dinner downtown.   All of you that chickened out on being out and about this weekend in Northern New England, sucks to be you.
