Besides spending most of last week at Whiteface, I on a whim, and the fact that I found a good price, bought a car.   A 1998 Subaru Impreza RS.   I took a few pictures, which you will find here or in the gallery.   Check out that link in the last sentence for the story on that.

     On the right is Kevin, who dropped by for a day to ride with Jill and me at Whiteface on Thursday.   Conditions were excellent while we were there, and that also means that I was too busy riding and having a good time to take any pictures.   Thanks goes out to Jill's father who put Jill and I up at the Brookside Motor Inn, a few minutes from Whiteface.   Besides snowboarding, I have had plenty of other things going on.   At the bottom of the page is a picture of Jill's Jeep, on which my birthday present sits.   I am sick of having the road salt destroy my snowboards and bindings as they ride on the top of my car in the ski rack.   So, in order to solve this, combining gifts from my Mother and Father, my Grandparents, and Jill's mother, I purchased a Thule brand box to put all my snowboards in.   Jill's gear and random other gear fit in as well.   Thank you to the five of you who made that happen!   This past month, I also made a trip to Long Island to visit my family, and of course, got a solid 3 weeks of work in.   I'm just finishing off a week of vacation, so I am not nearly is as bad a mood as my last page I put up here!   I hope to get some time to do some more work on this site soon, but with 50+ degree weather like today, and Ultimate season just around the corner, I make no promises.   Don't forget to check out the new car!
