The view from Chair 6 Quad at Whiteface Mountain on Sunday, January 5, 2003. A beautiful day at the top of the mountain, looking down onto Little Whiteface. How could you question my time and money spent with views like this? Friday night, it snowed over a foot at the mountain and over a foot and a half in Burlington. We escaped to the Brookside Motor Lodge, in Upper Jay, NY, on Friday night, just ahead of the storm. Here are some more pictures from the hotel, Whiteface this weekend, and Jill skiing the weekend before at Jay Peak.
Forty Niners!!! The Giants showed what they were made of tonight, losing badly by one point to the San Francisco Forty-Niners. Jeff Garcia, Terrell Owens leading the Forty-Niners to the second biggest come from behind victory in NFL playoff history. Giants stole one at Candlestick in 1990 - payback's a biotch. New York, have fun watching the J-E-T-S-Jets, Jets, Jets!
